Don’t worry, there’s hope. We can help!
Everyday K9 began with the hope of helping families experience the same feelings of relief and happiness my own family has come to enjoy every day. We are passionate about teaching our community members how to create calmness during the chaos of our day-to-day lives.
At Everyday K9,
finding opportunities to strengthen relationships between dog and human is our passion.Hey, my name is Heather!
I grew up right here in St. Pete, and have always had dogs in my life. My training journey began in 2006, when i became a member of The Dog Training Club of St. Petersburg, and stayed as a volenteer instructor for the next 11 years. My journey took a twist in 2011, when my dog(Gates) and I started struggling with reactivity, and eventually with full blown dog aggression. This journey has led me to some unbelievable places as I continue to dig deeper into my “why”. As Gates and I find more and more peace each day, it allows me to guide others to Kalmly navigate out in the world with their dog. Everyday K9 Training was established in 2016, and my next dog, a dog aggressive Mokey, came along in 2019. Mokey quickly became a huge part of group classes, and helps countless Teams overcome their own struggles every day. By learning through our own struggles and successes, we are dedicated to helping struggling dog owners be able to peacefully coexist in the chaos of human society.
We can’t wait
to
meet your dog!
